President Sarkozy from France and President Calderon from Mexico have something in common. Both have engaged in wars based primarily, some could argue, on electoral considerations. We do not argue against doing something regarding Libya and drugs on Mexico (the war of each, respectively), however, we do condemn the belic strategy because it seemed to be ridden not by the social well being of the supposed beneficiaries (Libyans and Mexicans) but by the political and electoral needs of these presidents.
