Small woman, Big voice: Selah Sue in concert on September 25
Belgium singer-songwriter Selah Sue is known for her funk/soul sound, interspersed with some reggae elements. Selah Sue’s debut album, titled ‘Selah Sue’, was on the top of the hit lists in Belgium and The Netherlands after its release in 2011. In her home country Belgium, Selah Sue has received several awards, among which ‘best female singer’ in 2010, 2011 and ‘best album’ in 2011. Apart from her hit singles ‘Black part love’, ‘Raggamuffin’ and ‘Crazy vibes’, Selah Sue has released covers from Erykah Badu and Amy Winehouse. With her 24 years old and approximately 1.65m, Selah Sue has a surprisingly big voice and plays music that is suffused with soul. Selah Sue will give a concert in A38 coming Wednesday, 25thof September. I’ve had the pleasure of seeing her performing live twice and I can highly recommend you to go to her concert. If you missed Selah Sue on Sziget Festival in 2011, this is your chance!
