One of the missions of our initiative has become creating a public debate platform for the very reason that the public debate is not really welcomed in any online CEU platform. This is why we welcome the responses from you to the following questions.
Every now and then we tell a politically incorrect joke to pull somebody's leg or only for the fun of it. Is getting offended by such jokes a small price to pay for freedom of speech? Or is calling this a free speech issue is a joke itself?
What about when we tell such a joke publicly? Is it detrimental to the equality and mutual respect for the each other’s values? Or does it matter at all whether we do make such jokes publicly or not? Or do we worry too much about being politically correct?
Some of the responses will be published in the next ‘the CEU Weekly’ issues.
