Night of Museums in Budapest - 11th edition

Budapest traditionally (since 11 years) celebrates Midsummer Night by organizing the Long Night of Museums, which provides the opportunity of visiting about 40 museums and cultural venues throughout the evening and the night. 9 years ago several Hungarian towns outside of Budapest joined the initiative, nowadays more than 300 venues participate throughout the country. One can visit as many permanent and temporary exhibitions in this night as (s)he can for an armband that costs 1500 HUF and is available in all the participating institutions. But it's not only about museums, exhibitions, and special guided tours, there are also several extra programs such as wine and food tasting, concerts, film screenings,  theatre and dance performances.

Since we are approaching to the weekend of Midsummer, the 11th edition of the Museum of Nights will be held tomorrow (June 22, Saturday)!  Let's get prepared.
