Guard Your Guard!

Probably you may have heard by now that the CEU security guard lady's temporary contract expires in the end of March and she claims that her superiors will not renew it.  CEU students believe that the reasons for this are arbitrary, not to mention, she was just two years away from her retirement. The case seems to be a bit complicated since the company that provides security services to the CEU might sub-contract these services to many other small companies. The CEU Weekly will update you with further details on the case.

This story is about Anna, the lady who is always nice to everyone, who is ready to chat with students whenever, who is interested for whatever we tell her. She has always some nice words to tell. Noteworthy, that she is an English teacher by training and she has worked as such for many years. She was overeducated for the job she had at CEU. Yet she never showed indignation for this, she was enthusiastic to come to work at CEU.

See the petition below and sign if you agree! Solidarity is an essential value of CEU's student body, I think, so let Anna and all CEU-related companies' employees see that we do care for them!
