Short News from Hungary at the Dawn of 2013: Cézanne exhibition draws 100,000

The Museum of Fine Arts of Budapest has now a very much appreciated temporary exhibition about Cézanne’s oeuvre. It will be open till the 17th February, so hurry up if you are interested in it! The concept of the exhibition is to demonstrate how much Cézanne learned from previous masters and how much he still renewed painting. After having arrived at home from the museum I read on internet that the exhibition welcomed the 100 000th visitor on the same morning, on the 12th January. Unfortunately it was not me, however, the 100 000th visitor won a ticket for free entrance to the Museum of Fine Arts and the National Gallery, valid for a whole year.
