Issue XVI: The Weekly Spam Review

There has been again a systematized delirium thanks to a questionnaire sent to everyone which is related with two important aspects of our lives; alcohol and academics. I truly sympathize with the victims of spam. Among all the other things, it should be really hard to click on the delete button every so often. It’s possible that people expect some important news, and every time a notification pops up they get excited and all they get in the end is sheer disappointment. This might make us turn into assembly line workers, as depicted in Modern Times, as if we are mindlessly screwing cogs. People might end up getting alienated in this division of labor and deleting important e-mails without thought. That would be extremely agonizing especially for the Business School people, since they should be the ones making workers get alienated, not the other way around. So, I understand their UNSUBSCRIBE rage! After all, they should train themselves. However, they should pay attention to the motivation behind this questionnaire. Alcohol would definitely help not to give too much damn sometimes. Studies show that! Which ones? Puff, some probably show that… Come on, don’t give too much damn!
